EK front Lip ???? HELPPPPP

hello all

i have an Ek1 with an OE front Lip..

for some reason its does not line up...

due to physical reasons i cant get down and try and fix it my self...

is there anywhere in brisbane area that would help with this or how hard is it to do it yourself...

any ideas would be tops at this present time...

It shouldn't be to hard to fix i'm on my second lip atm so i have a few spare screws and clips if your missing any.

If you can wait till the next meet in 2 weeks time come along and i'll bring the clips and screws and have a look for you.

Or if you really need it fixed asap feel free to pm and we'll see what we can sort out.

i will get some pics this weekend and post..

its on the car now just it overhangs over the ends near the tyres and on full lock the tyre hits the lip...

Hmm.. where did you get the lip from? Might need to check whether it's the correct one for your ride. I've got a Honda access lip on an EK and it fits quite snugly. The pictures will help.

I'm in Brisbane too, might be able to help.

that lip is made for the preface lift model

This is the one for a 99-00 EK.

As [ricer] says, your lip might be for the 96-98 (pre facelifted) model? Have you got any wide shots of it from the front?

The front doesn't hang below the bumper too, it is sort of supposed to overlap it.

Definitely the wrong lip...

I'd be taking it back to them for an exchange for the right one..

Yep, that's the prefacelift (96-98) lip. The top of the 99-00 lip covers up most of that silver area just above where your lip is now.

It want be an ek9 lip, will more than likely be the oem optional lip.

i just bought a mugen style lip off JDM yard which was a sh1t load cheaper then OE.
and looks heaps better as well..
