Car after EG

sadly i may have to sell my car to pay off an overseas holiday at the end of the year, looking at cars to buy afterwards (obviously cheaper ones). Im thinking of an ED and swapping in a D-series efi engine. only because im on the tightest budget out (7k max). any other opinions? would rather keep it in the honda or rwd nissan/mazda/toyota family. thanks!

EG with B or ek is nice with 7k. For me, toyota levin is another option. you can get them with pretty cheap price and they are powerful toy.

ED/EG with B swap can go for about 7k

if your looking for a Silvia you can get one (turbo) for about 5-7k these days (with a few minor mods)

Decent and straight running Hachi will set you back minimum of 7k (shocks,seat etc basic mods)

i know of a CRX with a b16a going for 5k needs a bit of attention but not a hell of alot.
