Hey guys,

I have a little issue with my EK1.

When I turn on my blinker (press the stalk down or up) and turn my wheel, sometimes the stalk does not click back and turn the blinker off...

It happens most of the time. Sometimes when I turn the wheel, i can hear the click noise when my blinker isn't even on..

Any ideas!?

happened to a friends lancer MR before. They replaced some sort of relay thing at the steering column, think it was about 200 or so. But this was for the lancer...

it's not electrical though, it's just the thing that makes it click back up.

You have to press the stalk up by hand insted of it clicking up by itself...

Is there a possibility that the previous owner was doing it manually?

Because if they were (much like a friends car) it wont go back up normally/automatically

So you will need new controller arms if that is the case

its the auto-canceler , located inside the steering wheel hub. Its a white bit of plastic in the shape of a axe head which clicks off the indicator when you correct the wheel during a turn Its probably gummed up inside and stuck , needs a clean
take off ya wheel and have a look
