hi guys, just as the title where do you guys do finance on an import car???

anywhere you would fiance a normal car. Apply for a bank loan/finance just remember if the loan is secured against the car (i.e. if you default they repossess the car) then it is required to get comprehensive insurance on the car, which can get expensive not to mention the fact that financed cars cost more to insure. So factor in insurance into the loan as well, and if you can try to get an unsecured loan on the car

go to the bank first. if the bank says no , that means you shouldnt get it anywere else, the bank will only say no if they know you cannot afford it.

sometimes the bank will approve it anyways

only if slightly out. they will never approve it if they are confident you wont be able to pay up.

cos what happen is i've talked my frds who is working in the comm bank and he said that they don't do finance on IMPORT cars but yet to ask other banks. so i was thinking is that all the bank don't do finance on import car.....!

dunno, maybe its apart of the criteria but these are the requirements for a car loan at anz
The car must be less than seven years old
The amount being financed must be over $7,500
All applications are subject to ANZ Car Loans' normal credit approval criteria

have you tried places other than banks like aussie

If you get a un sercure loan from a bank.
it doesnt matter if your using it for an import or whatever
