Sunroof on Ek Vti-R's

hey looking to purchase a 1998 ek vtir and it has no sunroof. i was lead to believe that it was a standard accesory however when i asked about this to the owner i was told that some came with it and some did not. can anyone clear this up for me. do some civic vtir HATCH's not have a sunroof?

for ek4 96-98(hatch vti-r) are all comes with sunroof, em1 99-00(coupe vti-r) doesnt comes with sunroof.

ok.. what could be the reason for this vti-r everything else looks legit all interior trim engine is stock stuff like that...any other suggestions?

think the import ek4 has no sunroof.. but look at the vin number if it say ek4 it could be ek1 convert to ek4

if the car has been converted to a ek4 it will have 'ek4' in the VIN number
so wat should the vin number have in it on a standard vti-r?

or is that what your sayin that the vti-r VIN number has ek4 in it so if it has that it could be a import or be a converted ek1?

even if its converted it will still have build date and what it originally was on the plate.

probably a conversion... yes check the build date, vin or etc...

see all aus delivered ek4 has sunroofs, not many are imported, and if ur checking the vin make sure u check chassis not compliance plate
