best off to use more green coolant

or pure mineral free water

so is that like bottled water you buy from shops? lol
what will happen if you use tap water?
it looks like the overflow tank just needs to be topped off around 100ml to get back to 'full'
no big deal at the moment i can drop by my mech tomorrow and ask him to top it off with proper coolant.

with my mums toyota, mechanics say you can top up the red coolant with water.

tap water has all other chemical and don't have anti boil/freeze stuff.

I recommend to get Honda OEM collant. Honda engine is all-alloy and don't like silicate coolant. Most off the shelves stuff has silicate.

Either get more of the green stuff from Supercheap, or get distilled water from Coles.

i'm not talking about adding a litre of water.
it looks like 100ml of water is all that's needed to get my overflow tank from low back up to the full mark.

the thing is i've got a weird leak where the top radiator pipe goes into the engine.
it's drips down on to the engine next to the headers when i press the pipe/open the radiator cap.
so that's why my overflow tank has slowly gone from full to low during the last 8000km or so and plus recently my radiator cap broke so i guess maybe that's why coolant was dripping from the cap area.

but anyways i will drop by my mech as he changed my coolant before.

the thing is my top radiator pipe was changed a few months ago
it's got the clamps that tighten with a screwdriver.

maybe its not tight enough? if its leaking then either its not tight enough or your top hose has holes.
either way.. its leaking. its the hoses. not the coolant i reckon. but ur mech should know better. im e-thug lol
