Euro R vs Mugen Euro

Does anyone know the difference or have pics of both the Euro R kit and the Mugen Euro Kit

Tried Googling and didnt know which was which

and if anyone knows where i can source from genuine or replica

It's American so you need to look under Acura TSX (that's what Accord Euro is sold under over there.)

u can get both those kits from our traders, just ask around =D
also there are different kits to the different yr models so beware of that. as some are not interchangable.

I just moved to Sydney from Singapore , and I've just acquired a 2nd hand black Accord Euro '05. I have been a big Honda fan, driven a Jazz and Civic before, but unfamiliar with where and where to get the most and best for the Honda here in Sydney.

Does anyone here know where I can purchase the fullfrontal Muegn Euro kit for Accord Euro 05?

PM a member here called Atjo. I think he has a replica mugen kit which apppears to be going well for all these years.

Regarding lowering, do a search, its been covered many times. Be careful with lowering springs alone as it reduces the life of the shocks ;)

none its carmates own...and the front where the normal grill is meant to be won't give your car very good ventilation cause its blocked off.

my mate also says not to get carmate stuff cause they are sh1t

carmate stuff when i asked him he said the gaps were tragic between the sides of the euro kit (mugen front replica) and rear (luckystar replica).

Also he mentioned that Aftermarket kits all have bad fitment just depending on how well the installer fits them is the key.

Reputable branded kits will most likely fit better as there has been more research into them, but will still have slight irregularities in them.

i hope the plastic body kits fit well. no point saving money when they dont fit. Im curious what happens to the parking sensors when u replace teh rear bumper? or is it just a lip addon

nah deal fell through as the kits are all fibreglass man, too hard to Air freight over, also nobody wants fibreglass.

Genuine aftermarket kits should fit perfect, the same as a factory bumper bar or skirt.

fiberglass is much more solid and less flexible, therefore a slight bump will cause a crack.

not sure about other brands, but genuine mugen is polyurethane which is durable and very flexable.

when you paint them can you see any difference.


i have concerns regarding bumps cause even in stock, ive scraped the underside of my lip before. i dunno how u guys with lowered cars and lip kits get over bumps and across trenches.

what often are the plastic kits a bad fit? surely it cant be a high rate otherwise nobody would buy them. gargh so many things to toss up.


also generic question. Do you guys reckon the mugen kit with mugen grill looks better or stock grill. i figured if im going to get a kit, might as well get everything in one go. but ive always been drawn to stock grill. however after seeing pics in the post your euro thread. it doesnt look BAD but nothing amazing either. im so torn.

Plastic kits are just another saying for Polyurethane..

Companys like Mugen, TRD, Mazdaspeed, Ralliart, etc, make Polyurethane kits for cars, as they are like the official tunning companys for certain brand cars.

Aftermarket tunninh house like, top secret, Vertex, Fabulous, Boomex, Chargespeed, etc,
All make their kits in Fibreglass, cos its cheaper, and easier to work with also much easier to repair or modify, as in Japan they modify everything! lol

Im a nut shell, polyurethane is more durable but fibreglass is easier to work with, especially if your kit is a replica fibreglass is alot easier for the installer as most replicas are not perfect so its easy for them to modify, plastic on the other hand you will have to just put up with the shit fitment as most body shops in Aus dont have enough experience with modifying Polyurethane kits and they wont touch it.
But polyurethane is easier to ship as it can be bent to fit under 1.5m to air freight through normal international post compared to fibreglass there is no way to air freight them.

Originals are always best though the fit and finish are amazing.

Both are as good as eachother...

Just remember this,

I guarantee u that if you turn up with a replica polyurethane kit to a meet and some one parks right next too with a genuine fibreglass or polyurethane kit you and the guy next to you will be able to tell straight away that your kit is fake.

Its just the overall fit and finish, that a replica kit can never get.

Also the way people will look up to you and the feeling you will have about yourself knowing that u didnt take any short cuts in building your car with only genuine products! lol

Also atm I dont think there is anything available for your car apart from like a rear trunk spoiler in replica's..

if you have the funds, do not compromise the quality of the products you are putting on your car.

a friend of mine has a replica kit on his car. its a plastic replica and the fitment is so poor he is thinking about buying a genuine kit.

the only possible justification of getting replica is if your car is low and you scrape day in day out.

the mugen kit for my car is like the bride seat for me. its a hugging monster!
