anyone used the gravity bleeding method to bleed their brake lines lately?
instructions are outlined here (http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.php?t=20444)
would be good for me, got the time but i usually work solo and rather late at night :p

there is one man bleeding kit in supercheap/autobarn. This gravity method seems to take longer time.

one man bleeding kits been tried and failed by me already
i can deal with having it bleed for a while, just as long as it actually works

If you got a aircompressor, you can get this tool that sucks the fluid out of the brake lines and into its own bottle. Works very well and makes a job easy n quick.

i'm sure Repco has some.

Best is to slightly pressurise the brake fluid resevoir. Then you open each bleeder a little bit to let the old fluid out.

well when i was doing my brake lines on the weekend i just left the mc cap on and the brake fluid came out anyhow
i bled the lines on the day but its recommended that you bleed it again after a few days
just wondering whether gravity bleeding was a decent alternative if you have the time to

gravity bleeding works....just takes ages.
does exact same thing as any other method - get new fluid in and get any air bubbles out - its just that its the longest method
