View Full Version : B18C2 into EK, mounts?

Hey all. Not sure if this would be in the right section so feel free to move it.

Going to put a B18C2 into my EK4. Just wondering what mounts I need to get (model number) as I am selling the stock mounts with the engine. I am after Hasport mounts but am unsure the EKSTK model will be all I need as the B18C2 has the three bolt mount style.

Has anyone else put a B18C2 into a EK civic and if you have what was needed?

EKSTK is the one for EK with B series

yonas , the EKSTK kit uses a replacement mount for the EK yeah ? Similar to a EG or DC pass. mount ? (remember the pass. side mount is a liquid mount)

afaik if you change your passenger side mount bracket on the motor you should be able to use the ek4 mounts can't you? its what i did to retain my stock ek4 mounts

I'm selling my stock mounts with my engine. Wanting to upgrade to Hasport too.

Ek4 uses 2 holes while the B18c motor comes with 3 holes.

So if your wanting to upgrade to mounts to hasport or such then get replacement Ek4 mounts. When converting to a b18c motor you'll need to change the passenger side mount (on the engine block) to the b16a one (2 holes).

Yeah I was aware of the passenger side mount but was just trying to see what everyone else has done. I could get them from the U.S but AUD = crap and time waiting = 2+ weeks and it needs to be done ASAP.

Abit OT, why upgrade to b18c2? Not much different to B16a unless you current motor is dieing.

yes EKSTK is the replacement mounts for EK B series.

We go them in stock . Australian Hasport authorised dealer here

Yeah I know it is the replacement for B series but was unsure about the three bolt style mount (passenger side). I'll PM you when I'm going to come pick them up. Thanks Yonas.
