hi all, i have a ecu thats been taken out of my car i was told it was a dc2r ecu but someone had a look at it, and told me it wasnt. could someone let me know what kinda of ecu this is :

Seller probably bought it off eBay and was probably keeping it as a spare to chip etc...

vti ? i was running that with my b16a2 only thing that was stuffed about that is that vtec kicked in a 6000rpm

dc2r wouldn't have worked anyway unless the imobiliser was removed.

doesn't mean it's stuffed... nothing wrong with running vtec at 6000rpm

i actually ran the jdm one with x-over at 5875 rpm and dyno showed smoother power transition at x-over whereas the stock 5400rpm i was running showed a dip (loss of ~2wkw) at the x-over point.

it's probably chipped coz afaik all Aussie delivered Honda's had something like Axx as the last 3 digits.
