hey guys just wondering, has anyone ever experienced putting in a cold air intake on an s2k?

im really confused..

would u have to cut the splash guard for the pod to sit?

there are also lil support hinges but once i put the intake into place it doesnt hold on to anywhere for support.

please can someone try understand what im trying to say hahaa

if any of you guys have an intake can u please take a few photos to show me how your ones sit?

thanks

the intake looks something like this and i have circled those hinge things which dont align to any bolts within the engine bay

are the AP1's and AP2's intake any different? cause the one i bought doesnt fit for shit..

Um..this might not help but..

according to the AEM intakes i've seen the "circled" bit you have.. should be attached to a black rubber cylinder thingy which is about 2-5cm's long..soo that doesnt actually line up to any bolt.. but after you place the rubber thingy behind it.. it should line up to something a few cm's away??

hope that helps.
