removing carpet- help needed?

im half way removing the carpet and cant seem to get the center leather part out...do i need to remove the whole dash to do it?

are you talking about the center console, where the gear knob and roof button and sprayer button is. If so you take off the gear knob and unclip it and then there should be plastic clips from under the sides and pop them out all of it should come undone in no time

nah already removed that its the leather cover thats covering the middle bit

hmm maybe you should search on s2ki it should have abit of info on how to take it out cause alot of people take there carpet out. can i ask whats the reason your taking it out?

yeh thanks man ther carpet is in 2 pieces so you dont have take the middle section out



im taking it out becuase im laying dynomat and also brand new carpet is going in

dont have a picture, but its pretty simple just take out everything you see and it comes out. with your second question im not too sure with earlier s2000s but you dont have to take it out
