What are you honda drag boys running in terms of wheel/tyre sizes and types? Just trying to gauge what setup I should go for.

What final drive ratio do the SR boxes have?
How much power are you making now?
What does the engine rev to?
Give us some more info and you'll get a much better answer. :)
4.43 final drive
220+ fwkw
8300rpm redline
Hope this helps :D
Also, that power figure maybe more towards 250-260 soon.
Wow big power there
Im running 24.5 x 8 x 13 slicks on 13 x 8 Weld Drag wheels
I used to had 154kw@wheels
im highly doubtfull yonas 13s will clear pulsar brakes , with the 14s the caliper sits a few mill away from the rim not enough clearence.
ringhole make up your mind you selling or smashing another case :P
running 195/55/15, anything smaller and i can't clear my calipers.
Usually most people stick to 14s or 15s, easier & cheaper to get tyres
Go for the smallest diameter rim you can fit (probably a 14) and a 24.5x8" slick. The problem is getting the right size for a 14" rim. (I can't remember what is available in that diameter so you will have to check). You may need to go for a 15" rim just to get the right size tyre. You will sacrifice some sidewall but there is nothing you can do about that. Those tyres should give you some decent traction and make it rev a little harder than what it probably does now.
Once you start making 250+kw you "may" need some more tyre but I doubt it. If you did then you will have to go to a 26" tyre but they are damn big for your application and will require a lower diff ratio.
Personally, I like Mickey Thompson slicks so I would go for those.
Yeah i'm hoping to go for 15s just so i have some room to clear the brakes. it will be welds all around as well. mickeys for sure as well, i was very impressed with their drag radials and wouldn't go anywhere else :)
thanks milad, thats cool man... slicksorban now :)
is there any particular reason why a set of front runners are more expensive than the wider wheels/tyres?
