Spraying Rims Noob style
Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk!
Aim: to make current rims look sexy :D
Required: 1 can of primer, 1 can of clear coat, 2-3 cans of black gloss wheel spray and some sand paper.

Step 1 :
So firstly we taped the lip with normal masking tape and then again with newspaper so it covers the tyre and lip.

Step 2:
after that we applied a coat of primer, couldnt be stuffed sanding down first b4 primer but is an option.

Step 3:
wait until primer drys and check if all surface has been covered, then start applying the black coat of paint like this

Step 4:
After applying a few coats of black so all is covered, wait until it is COMPLETELY dried. then apply Clear coat same as Step 3 but with the clear coat can. try to add an extra coat every 20-30 mins up to around 3-4 coats of clear coat.

when completely dried remove masking tape to uncover sexy lip

hey man what type wheels are they? they look real nice once black...

i dont know about that VHT paint.. but some other high temp paints need to get real hot before they cure properly. So the paint on your rear wheels for instance might not cure properly.. might be worth looking into

greeat job, they look great... but you should have used an etch primer, and a urethane wheel paint. But i guess see how that goes and yeh, but good job anyway

as for the wheels they are from BSA. it came with the car wen i brought it and i got sick of the chrome FAST.
well we kinda rushed in the buying process, just brought wotever.
didnt really do research.

the vht is enamel
and the k+h is acrylic..
did u have any problems with the paint sticking to each other?
