definitely car is louder... your car will give out more pollutants, and the cops will definitely pull you over and give you a heavy fine. Power wise... only 1 or 2 more kw.
gutter? as in to run it into the ground by scraping? at least another 200kw atw!!
gutter as in pull out all the honeycomb inside the cat
so the car sounds louder, will it sound poor though? ive herd of people taking out the honeycomb and the car sounds realy bad after words, dont know why.
has anyone done this before?
it will be louder, it will be more powerful (sometimes considerably) but it will be highly illegal... i seem to recall it's 1k fine per cylinder in your motor... i think...
Stock exhaust?
Will sound louder, will smell like a rotten dynosaur egg soaked in the poo of a seagull that just ate a massive, oily and fried dumpling, will give a little bit of power from your butt dyno, will risk you a 10K fine (from memory) from the EPA and may cause your post cat O2 sensor to throw an error if you have one.
Gutting a cat to risk a huge EPA fine... I'll pass :D...
my car doesn't have the rotten egg smell when i run my test pipe
One of my mates got done for no cat.
His total fine was 15grand. I think. Either its 15grand all up. Or 15g for just the no cat.
Either way. Its around 10grand.
Getting a stock cat and punching the stuff out you dont actually gain any power. The design of the cat housing is suppose to restrict flow.
Youll most probably lose power.
