Cusco 2 Coilover VS Tein Flex

Hi, I come across this two coilover for EK. Which one do you guys recommend?

The Cusco 2 is 5 way adjustable for street and track use.
Spring rates- F: 9kgf/mm, R: 5kgf/mm.
Height adjustment- F:-75~0mm, R: -70~0mm

Tein Flex is street and track as well.
Spring rates: (front) 10.0kg/200mm / (rear) 7.0kg/200mm
Height adjust: - (front) -55mm ~ +10mm / (rear) -51mm ~ 0mm

I know both are seriously great products. But which one do you guys recommend for a daily driver.

At this moment, I am preferring Cusco 2 as it has lower spring rate and more high adjustment.

but with teins u can get parts and get it fixed in aus more easier as there is a distributor
in qld

Cusco 2 is cheaper like 200-400 compare to flex.

i have used both set of coilovers. I would prefer the Tein Flex over the Cusco. Rides the bumps much better at the track.

But for DD, ill go for Cusco Zero. Its not as hardcore compare to the flex

Id have to say Tein Flex...

Tein you can Run the EDFC (Electronic controll the damper from in car) and i dont believe the Cusco have a similar device. Also i believe the Tein have a larger range of dampening settings which is something you want for daily driving.

I am unsure what the flex would be like on a daily driver (as mine is a weekend driver), however on the softest setting its not too bad, and on the hardest its very nice and firm.

Educated guess that the tein would be more expensive. Also its hard for me to compare as i actually have not driven a car with cuscos (i have been a passenger)

Plus from a legality point of view i THINK (dont quote me, DO THE RESEARCH!) some Tein Coilovers are ADR approved (as they have australian distributers).

Actually, Cusco have E-Con Controller which similar to the function of EDFC from Tein. It can adjust the damping force inside the car and the controller is much more smaller compare to EDFC. This allow more of hood clearance.

I found a used cusco 2E for $1000 and used Flex for $1300. But Flex is missing top upper mount. what do you guys recommend?

cusco dude... if sumthing is missing from the coilovers.. dont go near it as other stuff could be missing and you not knowing :)

I'm running a set of cusco 2E's atm, they have been very comfortable since my car is a daily driver. The drop is perfect also. I cant rly comment on the flexes but the cusco's were a dramatic improvement in handing over my previous set up; tein springs + stock shocks

cusco's ftw, ive had mine for more than 1 year now and they have been great.

i jsut changed from Cusco Zero2 to Tein MonoFlex.

the Tein are excellent, as were the Cuscos...

you will be happy with either... provided they are in good condition and not worn out (the BIG problem with 2nd/3rd/4th hand sussy...)
