What would you buy?
Guys,
Love the forum, theres heaps of info on here- which is great for me because I know nearly nothing about Hondas. But I've always thought they were good and I'm looking for a new project.
Here's a question for those that have been down this road before.
What would you buy if you wanted a twin-cam Honda with four doors?
What has the most potential?
Am I better off buying something cheaper and doing a engine swap?
Basically I'm trying to work out what is a good starting point for a Honda project. I want something less than 15 years old and I'm tired of two door cars.

Edit: I guess I should state that as a starting point I'm looking to spend around $10-15k.

i would get an EK sedan...since your specific about a 4 door and less than 15years.

What engines easily bolt into an EK sedan?
What would they come out of, where do most people source them?
Can I easily keep things like power steering and air conditioning?
How much should I budget for?

basically any honda engine, b series, h series, k series. in terms of the h series and k series there needs to be some customisation to fit p/s a/c.
if your after easy, cheap. it would be the b series, b16a (eg6,em1,ek4), b16b(ek9)or b18c (dc vti-r, dc2r)
prices will vary greatly, would be best to directly ask, wreckers, traders on this forum, backyard job guys.
for a b18cr swap, prepare to pay roughly between $6-8k, cheaper for b16, but again it varies depending on parts provided, condition, etc etc.
