if your talking about the OBD2 Diagnostics connector AUDM dont have it
only the 3 pin DLC connector
Is the 96 EK1 even proper OBD2?
its OBD2, but doesnt use the regular connectors that Honda uses for OBDIIa and b.
its behind the left kick panel
Hi Guys,
I'm new to Honda's and I have a 98' compliance plate but 97' built Civic Gli sedan.
I've been trying to find the OBD connector but still can't find it. I found HondaHookup.com ages ago and they insist it's an OBD-II model and that the connector is under the dash near the steering column LINK
I have just about pulled the entire dash off and still can't find it..
I have pulled the left kick panel off but I'm not sure it's there ...

HELP!!!!!
Also, after downloading the full service manual and bleeding the clutch I now have what sounds like a rubber squeak when depressing the clutch, any ideas.
Also I have a whistle type noise when I am at about 1/3 to 1/2 throttle under load. When I give it more throttle the noise goes or when I use less.
Car is perfect only ever serviced by Honday dealer. I brought it at 70k km's and it has only just ticked over 100k after having it for about 2 1/2 years.
I only use Honda parts for the car... Anyone know of a cheap place to get trade on parts. I was using a guy in Melb but I think he is telling me crap about getting trade...
your car will not have a OBDII port. Australian cars didnt get them until 2004
in the red cirle you have the 2 pin SCS and 3 Pin DLC connector
