Skunk2 coilovers are NOT comfortable for street, they are VERY stiff. Maybe not bouncy but you'll need a spine made of steel to find them comfortable for street. Do a google of a couple of reviews etc. and you'll find all the info you're looking for.
so none of the skunk2 coilovers would be recommended? what's the next budget friendly coilover? buddy club n+?
'Coilovers' and 'budget' don't go hand in hand, Buddyclub N+ are very good coilovers but they're not exactly 'budget' (around $1500-2000 atm).
yeh theres a user on the forums called marcoardeno. hes got them on his dc2, i drove his car before they seem good.
well he told me they rnt damper adjustable. they r comfortable to him, alot of difference in handling. he hasnt tracked them though yet, but from when i drove his car it seems like it would b good enuff for the occasional track use.
hw much can u get it for? i guess whthr its worth or not getting is depending on the price u can get for them. for $1500 u can find ohlin coilover second hand in mint cond that marcoardeno used to sell before he got banned lol.

Skunk2 Pro-S is street/track design coilover, which ok to consider as "comfortable" to use for the street and not bad for the track. We had installed a lot of these into DC2 or even DC5, the feedback are "GOOD". And SKUNK2 do make 2 types of the coilovers for the DC2, either Pro-S or Pro-C. Pro-S is not the damping adjustable but the Pro-C is 12 levels damping adjustable. One thing unfortunately, the DC2R (US Spec) are using the same rear lower control arm as DC2 VTI-R (AUS Spec) rear lower control arm.
However, all the Aus Spec DC2R are still able to using the SKUNK2 Pro-C if change to the fork type rear lower control arm. From what we had done, if it is standard VTI-R rear lower control arm, then the customer need the spacer in btw of fork and coilover but will spot on with SKUNK2 Billet Rear lower control Arm.
Again, the feedback from our customers with SKUNK2 Pro-C either for Street or Track, one word to say all "AWESOME"!!
