help?
Im pretty sure its my clutch but someone told me it could be my timeing belt.. When i plant my foot it sometimes randomly revs till you take your foot of the throttle.. I know they slip in auto's but i dont think thats happening in my car lol. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and its a 2001 s2000 with roughly 68,000 ks now lol.

definatly ur clutch is slipping................too much rev dump.........lol
ONE way to test.............do 60 and put it in 5th and foot to the floor, as it will be under massive load..............it should slip (free rev) this is one indication the clutch is gone......
-
F20c doesnt have a timing belt.
-
i see i see, well tom it does it sometimes but not all the time its weird :| lol. how long till its undriveable? considering i dont rev dumb anymore lol.
-
lol........if u cruze it it should be okay for a month maybe more.......
it will slip a lot more in the heat........the more heat and the longer u sit in traffice, the more heat it will absorbe...........
just take it easy and organise a replacement,............

does anyone know much about my cars clutch? apparently it could have a fly wheel in the clutch? i havent sused it out much yet.. oh and tom i saw your mate scremn on lygon tonight lol.

Depending on what clutch and combo you want it can range from 300 - 3000.
You can also upgrade to a lightened flywheel, lots of benefits there, main thing is your car revs up a little quicker :)
