|DIY| RED ROCKER COVER B-series
i know there is a d series diy for this and a b series but from a professional panel beater. but i alwais wanted to post this up. as now i have time on my hands to :) hope you guys all enjoy.
Tools needed:
-fine sand paper
-masking tape
-newspaper,(to avoid over spray on engine bay)
-Hair dryer
-Damp cloth
-scalpel
-VHT Wrinkle Plus can, in favourd color.

how to
step 1: remove spark plug cover, spark plug leeds, throtle cable clip, air sensor tube and also oil cap.
step 2: cover the, DOHC VTEC etc, oil hole n spark plug wholes also along with the 4 bolts that hold the rocker cover down and the pipe at the top that goes to the air sensor.
step 3: cut around the leters, oil and spark plug holes with the scalpel.
step 4: start sanding down the surface of the rocker cover, till smooth all round, leaveing no rougth sections.
step 5: use hair dryer to blow away the sanding away. then wip over with the damp cloth. and dry again.
should now look liek this

step 6: Cover around the bay with newspaper and and stick i down with the masking tape.
step 7: shake the VHT can well for about 10minutes. then start to spray about 30-40cm's away from the rocker cover.
spray horizontally the first times, then leave about 30-40minutes for the next coat. then the 2nd coat shold be applied diagonally. and visversa with the 3rd coat but vertically.... when doing this be calm, as the paint could run when oversprayed and to closs, i had a few runs but i sanded them down.
step 7: i left my rocker cover to dry like this over night, i clossed the hood on top of it. next morning i removed the masking tape.
and re-assembled leads, cover and oil cap.
