I think the main difference is: its a 5 door hatch that is also available in Auto, spoiler-less rear hatch and different front grille. and no gear boot on the manual shifter.Quote:

The other new Civic hatch we have in Australia is the FK2 (known as the Civic Si), which is the 5-door 1.8L seen at the last International Motorshow.
Engine wise, it has 103kW@6300 RPM and maximum torque of 174Nm@4300 RPM compared to the FN2R (Civic Type R) which has 148kW@7800 RPM and max torque of 193 Nm@5600 RPM.
And just for reference, in Japan, they received the FD2R Civic Type R, pictured below:
