Hey people, just wondering when changing the exhaust (just cat back) ..does it consists of taking off the 3 bolts that connects to the pipe and putting on the new exhaust or is there more to it???(and yes its direct bolt on)

there is also rubber support hangers holding it up
and you will need to unbolt the join just before the rear wheel to get the exhaust out and in
you need a hoist, car jack, jack stands to access the exhaust
if the nuts are rusty you will have a good time removing them
wat exhaust do u have? if u have a d series and a jdm exhaust for a b series i dont think it will fit coz of the cat.
if your gaskets are old and broken. you'll need new ones and some sealant.
thanks heaps for the helps guys all done!!
WD40 on the exhaust bolts will help them come off if they're rusty. I don't know how good WD40 will be on the rubber exhaust hangers so grease may be a better alternative. A second pair of hands/jackstands to hold the exhaust up while you're fitting it on also helps.
nah it was easy as..jacked up the car and the bolts wernt too hard to take off ..just like any other bolt...although i did spray wd40 on it first so it was pretty easy....took the oem exhaust out and transfered the rubber hangers to the new exhaust and worked backwards by putting on the rubber hangers first then putting bacvk on the bolts and i was done..prbably took me 30mins at most but thanks for the help again guys
