My little 78 Civic is awesome, but screams at any speed above 90kms. Desperately needs another cog. Does anybody know if there are any Honda 5Speeds that could easily swap into it at a minimal cost? Would appreciate some feedback from people who have had experience with this.:thumbsup:

Located in Adelaide. Not sure what wreckers I might have at my disposal that specialise in older Civics (if there are ANY specialists!)

Yeah it was straight forward. It actually had better ratio's, 5th made it easy to cruise at 110km without screaming it's head off. I think also '80-'81 wagon came as a five speed but not sure if it fits, hopefully someone can confirm this
