im using a garrett GT28RS with a .86 rear housing, alotta people say that would lag but it doesnt feel that way to me...IF i could do it again id get a slightly bigger turbo tho...I just wana see the difference...It starts boosting about 2.5k and id say its on full just before 4k
the beuty with hondas is their ability to rev freely :P
all this depends on which turbo

Starts spooling at about 2.5krpm full boost at 4.7krpm.
Doesn't seem to lag on mine but i'd like a slightly earlier full boost
Im running a tiny .48 T3 exhaust housing which is extremely responsive but is choking my top end power a fair bit. Good fun for a daily driver though. Probably better off with a .63 T3 or .86 T25 especially if you have a ball bearing turbo.
dunno hwo many ks but no shaft play, and boosting at 10PSI is like nothing for the 2871r
So you guys are all runing T2 flanged setups ?
i am thinkin of a T3 GT3071R but just not sure if i should go the .63 .82 or .86 i was going to go the .63 as i want a fast boost response but was worried that it would get chocked up at top but i dont know if to .82 at this stage
Im Running Gt2871R with 0.86 same as Luke
Boost starts around 2500 and full at around 3800 on 10psi. I have a different setup to some of the other guys tho. diff mani etc.
