Euro Luxury or S2000, u decide..

As heading clearly asks, early model S2000(convertible :thumbsup: ), or a Euro '03 Luxury 6MT?

I know everyone will have their different opinions, please express them.

I've been in the market for an S2000 for a few months now, but the Accord Euro Luxury is so classy and very hard to get by. What would you prefer, and why? And how will the resale value be on either cars few years down the line.

also: will Buddy Club P1s fit on their Euro?

i personally would go for the s2000, sports and classy look
but the disadvantage is its inconvenient if you need to drive people around

Personally, I could never own a 2 seater let alone a 2 door coupe.
Owning Honda Prelude for 6 years was more than enough to get tired of only having 2 doors and lack of space.
Now that I have 4 doors, I could never go back.

Performance in S2000 is good, but I think it's too expensive for what it is.
I'd get the Euro and if you are after a performance car, I'd probably get something other than a Honda.

Do you have a family, or going to have a family?? Have a 5 seater car that you can drive every so often??

If the answer is no and yes, then get a S2K. I would get the S2K if I was in your situation.

An early S2000 at about $40k would be nice but you can't beat the practicallity of a 4 door. The S2000 would still be worth more than euro a few years down the track simply because of the $70K+ entry price and popularity of this car. I personally would get S2000 as a second car or "sunday driver".

S2000 will pull the chicks :)

i'd love the s2k, but, practically a euro is better, and i'm happy with it.

If i had to get an inbetween, and I was allowed at the time, I would've had the Integra TypeR instead. It's more practical than the s2k. Coupe, fast and nice looking too!

The two cars that you mentioned are very very different cars and suit two lifestyles at opposite ends of the spectrum. I think the decision can only come from yourself and what will suit your needs.

I always wanted an S2 since they were first released, so I jumped at the chance to buy one when I could afford it financially. Some things you need to remember before purchasing one is the cost of insurance - it is quite dear especially if you are under 25. Aftermarket parts are also quite expensive.

The S2 is a very focused car. The bump stroke is stiff, the cabin is tight (no glovebox, only a small compartment), limited boot space, knife-edged feel to the handling. Since the roof is so thin, in the middle of Summer it is blisteringly hot inside the cabin. While it certainly isn't a bullet in a straight line (if you like drag racing, choose a different car), I always have a smile on my face after a spirited drive. I thought of the two choices that you currently have before settling on the S2, and I haven't regretted it since.

On the flip side, my friend is a similar age to me and he's in love with his Euro...

The solution is to have a good hard think about it, and test drive both of them.

I'd go the S2000 given the choice between the two and for my situations, ie. i don't ferry ppl much.

so, as majority have suggested, practicality and convenience would be the main factor in deciding between the two.

From what I read in the reviews, S2000 lacks low end torque and hence requires a lot of reving even during casual day-to-day driving. Frankly, I think S2000 is overpriced. Interior is VERY ordinary for a car worth a load of money as well.

My sensible side will say euro, but my fun side says s2k all they way.. I'm young and so are you...get the s2k :D

I'll never get an early model S2K- the plastic rear screen would be opaque by now, the clutch would be stuffed and pricey for new one.....
