Hi I'm new here but love Honda's! Haven't got a car yet but my cousin offered me a manual 98 civic vti-r hatchback with 122,000kms for 12k. The car is completely stock except for a new CD/mp3 player. Good deal or not?

welcome,
yeah its an ok deal.... but make sure you buy 20 inch cromies and 2 exhaust pipes btw they must be 6 inch each!
Sounds like a fairly decent idea, I know numerous people who have bought EK4's (yes, thats what your cousins VTIR is) and they've had great success with it.
Check it on REVS and check the service history though.
If all checks out, go for it.
Ignore Mikey btw.
LOL at MikeyG
Just another thought (spammer thought) If you can haggle, do it.
12k what a rought you cud almost get a type-r teg for that
yeah save abit more you could get a hold of DC2R Teg ! goes way harder than vtir hatch
Hmmm so my dad was right it isn't a really good deal.. He told me to tell my cuz to take it to a dealer and get a quote for what its worth then buy it off him for that price lol...
wow not bad 140clicks in a 70 and no vtec must be a quick car!
