ok, i was just checking the interior fuses, but i didnt realise that i had left the key in the ignition and at the ACC or ON position.
i took out, inspected and rplaced all the fuses one by one. all were fine.
BUT....... now my SRS light wont go off, when i start the car. wat did i trip / break ?
i think u might need to go to a workshop and restart ur ecu (someone correct me if im wrong), my srs light poped up one time and stayed on wile i was driving, took it to a workshop and they just restarted my ecu i think and eveythink was fine after, cost me like $50.
you have to restart the srs ecu. check diy section...although its for a different car but may work.
reset the SRS ECU and it will be fine

Thanks but i tried this method - my srs light still stays on. dunno why.
what if it flashes?
goes on randomly, will stay on and sometimes go off.
i changed my steering wheel from ek1 to ek4
the srs lights doesnt flash at all

defect - is yours ek1? if so can you take a photo of which yellow plug is the srs to reset?
