And yes I’ve Searched
OK Im going to get extractors tho I can't see where anyone is talking about Tuned length or Normal ones?
And would it make much diff to my D16Y VTec?
And where In Sydney should I got?
Chatswoood would be wicked :)
Thx LukeZen

Tuned is best - anyone can weld a set of pipes together... that's why a lot of Aussie ones are crap.
Tuned means that they are designed to scavenge waste gasses in the most efficient manner to facilitate flow. You pay for the research but it's worth it.
eg: Stock B16A manifold is better than an Aussie crap untuned header... in your case, you may see marginal return... but I'd be dubious.
Manifold are designed to let the engine to breath better.... as you know B16 is a 4 Cylinder engine.. and the amount of gas coming out from the engine is almost 100% the same(as there are some tolerance, and all engines have different wear) so... when you have tunned length manifold the gas out of the engine can creat its own suction effect thus help the exhaust to pull out the exhaust gas.... However a good manifold requires a lot of testing, becaus e the length and the size of the pipes all have to be tested according the the air flow rate. The length of the primary pipes can also be varied depending on the cycle of each rev... it is all very complex calculations...
Anyway tunned length manifolds are definetly better, and a well designed (with calculation of air flow rate) will be the best choice.

I have a set of headers on my d16y, i think they do make a difference. The motor has a better air flow, it gives me a little more performance, it seems to rev out a bit harder. They work more effectively with an air filter fitted, and of course it chews a little more gas. I had mine fitted at Liverpool exhausts.
Cool,
thx for the info guys :)
there look nice but are they good

condsidering that they are 2.5 inch if im not misstaken...
thank guys

how much are we talking here?
and where abouts are they?
Talked to the guys @ best Mufflers and they said
2” Xforce header and Xforce Muffler but leave the middle piping to keep low end power?
He said he dose the exhaust for his mates VTec (races it) and 2” all the way was to big
He would make more $ form me going 2” so I figure he must know something
What do ya think?
