Bang for buck tyres
I am after some new tyres for my turbo integra, being turbo I need good traction and I also do alot of highway driving so I need something that wears decently.
I have read threads on here and people have commented on Potenza RE050s. I am thinking of getting these after what I have read on the forum. Would anyone know the rough price of these in 215/30/R17?
Also are there any better tyres in the same price range or even cheaper.
Much appreciated!

I had RE001s they were really good in the dry average in the wet and average tread life... but i picked them up for 120 a corner for 295/55/15. hope that helps!

moved because it's not specific to Integra...
we have some tyre outlets as sellers on our site... i suggest you do some searching on our site as we do have a tyre thread, do your own intependant research, and speak to retailers

are you willing to ship from the US? if so try tirerack
good picks seem to be the re11, ad08 and the dunlop z1 star specs

Toyo R1-R... imo best tyre out for its price, great tread wear too... dry n wet performance is outstanding! Also holds up great on track.

IMO RE001 > RE050.
The RE050 were OEM on my DC5S.
Replaced them with the RE001.
The RE050 were quieter and more comfortable.
But I found the RE001 to have more grip.
I picked up the RE001s in 215/45/17 for about 200 a corner from Bridgestone a few months ago.
AFAIK the RE050 were ridiculously priced at like 280 each or something.
KU36 are 'bang for buck'.
Reasonably priced and decent performance.

If you wanna pay top dollar, go with AD08.

bridgestone prices have really jumped lately.
Bank for buck the KU36. I'm running RE001s just cos i got them on sale.
I'd say them slightly better than the KU36 (very nominal) but price is quite a big difference. Also $50 a tyre at some places
