Is it possible for a jazz with july 03 build date to be registered only in Feb 04.
In this case would the car be a 03 model or 04 model?
In my opinion the car is a 04 model but on the rego sticker it states 03 jazz.
Can anyone tell me?

it is possible like my old typeR
it will be a 04 i believe according to my dc2r
It should be 03
did you buy your car brand new ??? is so check the warranty booklet and it will tell you exactly what your after
it should be considered as 03 model.
The year of model is nothing deal with the REGO date. It's all about the date of build of the vechiel.
your car is still called 03 model if it's built in 03 and u buy it no matter 05' or 06' and register it in 05' 06 it's still a 03 model.
I think the method to defind which year model is looking at the design of the Jazz. Coz' u still can buy a 04 model Jazz in the end of 2003.
Just like the 05 model Jazz, u can buy it now in 2004, and the build date is in 2004.
U won't say a 05 model Jazz is a 04 model because of the build date is in 2004.
but my type R build day is 99 but my rego name it 00
no idea but DavidLing concept is right as new jazz call them 05 MODEL

don't worry mate..... does it really matter?
what model jazz did u get? what colour? did u get a good price?
So guys when i sell my car first registered in feb 04 in feb 05 is it considered a one year old car or a two year old car
depends on the buyer...... u can argue either way...
actually I dun really care...i just dont like it that it was advertised as a 04 if it is clearly a 03.Quote:
