the remote wire is usually blue.... just get a test pencil or a multimetre, and test any spare wires on the h/u wiring harness, when u find one which comes on with 12v (or it might be a little less, dont remember) when the H/U is switched on, you've found your remote wire ;)
Keeping in mind there might be 2, one for an electric aerial
