Worth the buy?
Hey guys, first post :)
Looking at buying a 94 civic eg. 1st question is its got a 1.3l carby engine in it but redbook says all the civics made in aus in 1994 were 1.5 or above so what kind of engine would it be and is it effecient?
Second question is, for the price is this civic worth it ? It has a few golf ball size dents and almost 200ks. Any help would be appreciated :) heres the link - http://firesport.com.au/honda-civic-...--ad166443.htm

we live in a age where EFI is slowly dying off, so ur best bet go with efi lol... dont worry about carby, carby's are for the purist......
Keep looking bud, get a efi civic eg, the more u look the better chances of find the rite one :)

unless you are looking to buy a shell then put a B series engine?
-
coming from owning a 1.3l carby, i wouldn't get this. 2k for a car that is nearly out of rego, u dont have to go honda for daily heaps of other choices.
if ur going to build it up start from a efi shell.

Cheers guys, how much would you pay for this ? Anyone able to point in the direction of a good honda civic for 2g ?
-
Always gonna be hard for $2g.
I would consider this one. Looks pretty straight/clean. Has had some work done on it and has some rego.
Or maybe this one or this one if you want a newer/EFI model.

for 2g, no doubt it will be hard to source a efi car.
carby would be say <1500 depending on its condition of coarse.
keep ur eye open and be patient, bargains always come around
