FD1/ FD2 HID ballast location

Hi guys, just posting this up cos it might help more ppl than just chichichichichibo

First of all, you need to turn your wheel all the way to lock position - doesn't really matter which way. You may also want to jack up the vehicle for more room to work with.

If you look upward (toward your headlights..) Here's what you'll see.

Excuse my appalling photography. You should be able to see the low beam bulb. The yellow circle is the bulb..

The blue circle represents the location at which I secured the ballast. Some may have taken the bumper off and attach it to the front bumper chassis bar, but i just stuck it here with double sided tape and cable tied it down - never had any problems with that at all, and it's easier to do this than take of your entire bumper.

Here's my ghettostyle finished product - doesnt look flash but does the job.. plus it's hidden away anyway.
