water leak when raining

hi guys. i got a water leak somewhere when it rains for a reasonable amount of time. i get water on the front and rear passenger floors (i got no carpet so this is an advantage) but i dont know where it could be coming from. ive pulled off the kick panel that covers the ecu and pulled back the sound deadener/rubber stuff along the bottom of the firewall but couldnt see any signs of where water could be running down from.

i have had the windscreen replaced a year or so ago but havent had any problems up until recently.

any ideas where it could be coming from? my personal guess it from the windscreen somewhere

in my dc4 i was getting water in the passenger side floor.....found out that the leak was at the rear from my tailights and when i put on the breaks the water travels forward.
but this may not be the case for you...

my car was parked on a bit of a lean at work today with the front at the top and back at the bottom, when i got to the car, i could see the water had leaked in somewhere from the front (looks like from passenger side) and travelled down to the back and made some small puddles in the back.

ive got the same problem as integragsi96. didnt drive my car for bout 1day on a weekend, and it was pissing down, jump in and i see my back seats + floor/ passenger floor are wet as! still havent found the problem, i rkn it could be my left break light letting in water but not 100% sure. unless its the rubbers on the boot not keeping water out probley :S

Hey bro,

my friend had a simular issue just lastnight, we found out that it was his passenger tyre mudguard, it wasn't on properly.

check door area, make sure all sealed through.

not a good sign, it'll rust inside and spread in the long run. rust is like cancer

Driver side where the pedals are small drops of water after a rainy day. Usually alot of water comes when i PRESS the brake (like 5 drips) otherwise just driping water very slowly. (VERY ANNOYING WHEN WEARING THONGS) lol freezing cold water on your toes while driving

my fender liners have been cut abit when i got my guards rolled but i dont think that has anything to do with it as the im pretty sure the door seal is good.

what ive done for the time being is run rags along the edges of the firewall and passenger door so when it does rain i can try and find out where abouts it is coming from.

I know what the problem is on this...
You know your wipers on the front of your car...
theres 2 little holes on each end of your windscreen to drain the water (You get what im saying??) Left and right hand side on the plastic cowl.... There SHOULD be 2 little holes there...

GET a LONG PIECE of solder...
Jam it down and yank it in and out... You should be good at this... use the hand you prefer LOL!!
it most likely has alot of dirt build up and caused a blockage....
U need probably 1m piece of solder wire....

Do this to both sides and your problem should be fixed (Had the same issue in my Daily Laser)

yehh its pretty annoying....im just going to silicon my tailights up lol...
to my suprise i have no rust from this...odd but true...

and to lukey i hope you find where the leak is cause before you get rust mate...
