where to put the 2 20amp fuses that come in kaixen hid kit

heys, well as the title explains,
where do you put the 2 20amp fuses that come in kaixen hid kit in our fd2's,
ive searched most of the threads posted up already and a diy thingy, but
it doesnt say were, and instruction manal says to just replace it because it needs higher power consumption due to starting up =="
or we dont need to use em,

arent they inline to the power cable/s ( red ) that should connect direct to the batteries positive terminal ?

i got a kaixen 9006/hb4 6000k low beam kit from one of the traders here,
its a plug and play, ive connected up all the cables already but the plug for the HID and the one connecting it to the power doesnt go in properly, it seems to be a common prob coz i read about it in many threads. and have mounted the ballast,
but in the instruction manual the last step is to replace 2 fuses with the 2 20amp fuses provided
in the engine bay fuse box, but it doesnt say which one to replace, and the fuse for our fd2 headlight is a huge 40/50amp fuse,

nah, the fuses you are suppose to replace are 10A fuses in the fuse box under the steering wheel, don't remember which fuse number but take a look at your manual for low beam headlights left and right

but do u really need to change the fuse for HID?

the stock ones are 10amp,

well actually it would be safer to NOT change the fuses at all, unless you're blowing them.

A fuse is the thinnest part of the circuit and increasing the size of the fuse, you potentially risk damaging the rest of the circuit.

I didn't change mine.

Don't change the fuse yet. Run the kit. You will not cause any damage blowing the fuse. Replace the fuse if it blows. Lower rated fuses are safer. There is a reason why Honda put a 10A there and not a 50A. Play it safe first! Maybe go up to 15A if it blows etc.
