I am attempting to get a 92 Prelude S registered, and it requires a self arming immobiliser.
Does this model come with an immobiliser. If so, could someone describe where it is and what it looks like.
Thanks

no it does not
you will have to add one
Ok thanks.
The car has had an aftermarket alarm fitted. Neither the remote key (which activates the alarm and central locking), nor what I think is the transponder have any brand marks. Assuming that the alarm is (say) no more than 4 years old, is it likely to have immobiliser functionality, or is there any way that I can tell?
The alarm will trigger if I lock the door, wind the window down, then reach in and open the door from the inside. However, I can still key-start the engine
if the engine start and runs for longer than 30 seconds while the siren is screaming, then you have no immobiliser
