DC2R Battery needed
Hi All,
Need to find a battery for my 2000 DC2R, so want experiences and places to get one,
If someone can suggest the best brand vs price, as I dont really want to just get a SuperCheap one, but at the same time my budget is not good for some space age carbon fibred one, the car is a daily driver, and i would like to be able to have the stereo on while working on the car,
Anyway, good feedback will be appreciated, and if anyone has one for sale, will be considered too.
Thanks

I just made sure I got a no maintainence one the same weight as the original, I think it was $170ish

go to battery world - get a green maintenance free battery. Indian brand....but 2-3 year replacement warranty. We have them on our trucks n forklifts and a mate has on his car , nevver misses a beat. Reasonably priced too ( $150ish )

Hey All, thanks for the info, so would an OEM Jazz battery have enough current? i can understand that it could be smaller, which is good, but surely the DC2r B18 is higher compression?

Battery size determines the reserve capacity, so bigger= more & smaller is less. Just stick to the OEM required size if its a daily driver, the DC2R runs a smaller battery from factory anyways.
Supercharge Gold

Hi All, thanks for the input, I got a SuperCharge Gold MF55B24RS with 36 month warranty, 430A CCA and its maintenance free :) $140 through my regular mechanic so tomorrow will remove the battery, clean everything down, and install the new one. I also have one of those Earth Gounding kits, but not sure if I want to install it, trying to work out best spots to attach it to. Cheers, Tseesinngwailo
