im currently considering buying an em1 and found a nice looking one in victoria

but the problem is the guy has a turbo kit installed and as a p plater im not allowed to drive turbo. the seller assures me that it is quite easy to remove to return the engine back to stock but i just want to make sure.
the turbo kit is fitted on the engine bay and has a front mount intercooler.
how hard wud it be to remove?
its easy to remove, its just that what might happen afterwards lol... im sure u can find other EM1's that aint as modded as this one an still be able to drive
With the oil pan, u can either replace it with another pan that hasnt been modded, for safe keepings, or just block it real good
U will also needa remove the Injectors and run oem injectors, as the stock injectors are like 240cc, and to turbo a Civic, u need minimum is 300cc to run
and remove all other accessories associated with turbo cars....
He also have to put the stock ecu back in place, unless he used a Piggy back system, im gonna assume he used a Hondata S300, theres no such as Hondatec Ecu
To be perfectly honest, just buy another EM1, dont screw around with tryna de-turbo one, just buy a N/a one and call it a day

Fairly easy. Its just going to lick the bag when the revs hit about 2g's. Unless you re tune it.
you can pick up an NA one for cheaper then that and looks alot better then that.
