Ive been reading a DIY on transforming the auto gear shift to a manual lookalike gearshift. the link given below

would this classify as a defect if i did this for my mates teg?

Not worth the $80 or so bucks worth for the shift knob and shift boot. 3rd gear in park and neutral when driving? Look like a poof man. Then there's also the dangers of not having the safety button on the shifter and not being able to see what your shifter is sitting in
Save the money, at the end of the day, its still an auto -.-

Do a fake clutch pedal too then your winning . Remember to to put the car in neutral and roll back on hills for that extra manual lookalike coolness

its a kind of pointless mod - but to be honest - i like it
i say do it - but ONLY if you can keep it as clean as the setup in the link
Gotta think about resale too. No one wants to buy a 'manual lookalike'... but then again you could just revert tit back to legit auto gearstick
