Navigation update for 2009 Honda Pilot (US Model)

Hi,
I'm trying upgrade my navigation system on my 2009 US honda pilot. I followed the steps found at http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?101440-CU2-2008-Accord-Euro-Navigation-start-up-Background-Mod&highlight=Navigation+mod and couldn't get it working. The system complains "DVD Disc reading error (incorrect DVD Disc) please contact your dealer". Any help would be appreciated.
I was using a memorex DVD +R DL. I'm sure the DVD was written correctly.
I did the -R DL patch as well.
BTW, is there a DVD -R DL disc available for purchase? I can't seem to find one.
