yeah, I just got most of it sorted out, but the engine is still guttless and it still hunts, it wont stop. I did what james suggested and cleaned out the TB sensors btu it hasn't done anything the things still dont work right. Any other ideas? apparently all the other sensors are working fine.
Time 2 do round 2 of testing.... did u do eveything thow LOL valve clearences ? upper engine cleaner ? and eveything else ???
If so next is compression tests
check mainfold both intake and exhaust bolts make sure the gaskets arn't leaking
check fuel pressure
check exhaust leaks
check the cat
Then its onto round 3 if those things check out ok ;) call me there's 101 more things to keep checking.

I drove the car tonight, it seemed to have its power back... it was lacking a little luste, but thats it.
nope no leaks from the manifolds... if there is its stupidly small.
have you checked the IACV, tried to clean it ???, also if you have a good one try to replace it as a test, also, you need to fond out if your running rich, take a plug out and read the plug, is it really black...is your exhaust tip sooty ???
Yes it is a bit rich, but i dont think its too bad now... its deffinatly a faulty sensor coz when the car idles fine like it should... it runs fine too. Then I'll stop or notice it lagging and the idle problem is back. So the power problem and the crappy idle are deffinatly interelated.
I cleaned the IACV too.
when Hondas run rich they hunt, if you can stop that you will fix it.
check your ecu, also the O2 sensor

im not sure if this would be relevant - unsure of the motor you are running, BUt - ive come accross many instances where honda engines will hunt because of the CHOKE.
at the back of the throttle body, you will find the choke valve, check that the pipes are hot when the car is Hot, otherwise you could have a blockage and the choke comes on, overfuels the car and in the end Hunts.
Alternatively - (this is on the Dseries not sure about B) on top of the choke you will have a little lid - inside the choke there are couple o-rings, and one on the lid - IF - these are old, and worn - there will be an air leak and also will cause the engine to hunt, when hot.

It might be worthwhile to check your FITV (I tink this might be what SINSTR is talking about). The big, white plastic screw inside your FITV can come loose overtime causing weird idle problems. Anyways, here's a good link about how to fix etc your FITV:
