Yo! (from the UK, but not for long...)

Hi guys,
I'm Marc from England and I drive an EE9 Civic.
I thought I'd sign up and see what the Aus scene is like, as I'm coming to Australia for a year or two in April (after spending 2 months there last year), and wouldn't mind hooking up with some fellow EF enthusiasts, as I may end up buying one to drive about for a while. I expect I'll be staying in Melbourne most of the time, but will be in Perth/Cairns/Sydney too.

Has your civic got automatic folding mirrors?

I have manual folding mirrors from an EF2. I did have EF9 electric folding ones but they were too heavy for me

its an EE9, not EF9, its the UK version. but i have the EF9 parts lol

i prefer the UK version, has sunroof, no ABS, no A/C, no PAS

Did the UK market get the EF2 sedan with single piece headlights?

EF is JDM
EC/EE/ED is the rest of the world


so no, we didnt get EF2's lol, we only had one sedan, the ED2 D14A1

when i was in Melbourne/Sydney last year i saw loads of 4G's, only three CRX's though, two were EF8 siR imports.

Is the B16 standard for the EE9?
