yes they are different and yes there really was a facelift.
hmm... been trying all means to post the image of both the bonnets.. its keep saying :eceed limit 27.9 mb.
yes there is a 97 would be the models 1996-98 known as pre-facelift. and 1999-00 is a facelift.

heres a nob question: would the 97 bonnet fit in the 99 frame.
it will fit change over the grill, headlights, fenders (maybe the inner guards), front bumper and dremel the 96-98 radiator stay to accomodate the new grill. you can also search up clubcivic/hondatech, to find relevant info for this question. Then a 99-00 bonnet will fit a 96-98 civic and it would then be a facelift model from the front end.Quote:

hes gunna fit a WRX STi bonnet scoop ...to suck up all the birds that gets in the way when vtakkkking!!
