Hey,
New to the world of Civics, I have no documents or papers with the car. There is no info sticker on the underside of the hood. So Just wondering what you guys would recommend for engine oil for a b16a.

alot of thread about this topic but i tell you anyway 10w-30 honda feo or from any reputable brand is fine
Kim jong speaks the truth.
Any decent semi synthetic or fully synthetic oil from a 5 to 15w weight, and a 30-50 hot weight.
Depending on kilometres and engine health.
Cars done 180k and engine is pretty good.
I recommend Nulon 10W-40. Or if you're swimming in cash go Royal Purple.
dont have to be swimming in cash to use rp...
Relax little man it was a bit of sarcasm. Just so the new guy knows it's a bit more expensive.
Yeh not like I took it as literally swimming in cash? I used it in the same context as you. Im just saying he doesnt even need to be rich to use it.
Here's my set up.

Pointless talk, anyway for your car it should be 10w40 unless it doesn't burn oil then go for 5w30. Heard Nulon was okay, I recommend for a similar price Motul 8100 X-Cess 5w-40.
Where do you purchase the royal purple from?
Agree with trism. Start thin and if you're burning it then go up slowly
castrol magnatec 10w-40 (its semi synthetic) works fine if you're on a budget...
and the only OEM fluids I stick to are
1. the Blue type 2 coolant,
2. and the power steering fluid
I wouldnt buy OEM engine oil solely based quality/dollars comparison but that's my personal pref
