Hi I I've an early eg civic. 1.5 carby. My horn isn't working and I wanted to check the horn itself .... But I can't find it? Checked all the usual places with no luck. Can someone please tell me where it should be, I reckon it's been taken off-but I'd obviously like to use the existing wiring !

should be on the front radiator support.
My eg2 has it connected to a bracket on the bonnet release mechanism.

it's on the rad support. best to remove your front bumper.

I am also on the hunt for a less feminine horn! Any1 have any ideas about a donor horn? Im keeping my ears peeled but it seems other UK motors have pansy horns also. Dont know if fog horns are legal here!Quote:

I highly doubt it's the steering wheel connection if it's still standard steering wheel.. But check it anyway just in case previous owner returned it to stock. You will need a 19mm socket (wheel nut remover will do the job too) and a flat head screw driver if you don't have nails.
