Hey guys, a friend of mine has a celica 94 model and just recently the cars wheel started hitting the calipers and taking bits out of the wheel when turning. any reason why this is happening?

wat??? check for any loose bolts?
"just recently" takign chunks out ?
have the wheels been change IE new wheels ? ( could be a offset issue ) Or are all parts inside torqued / not loose ?
nah nothigns been changed.
eveyrhtings been fine until recently he heard noises when turning then relaised its his calipers hitting his wheels.
IF the calipers are hitting the wheels, then the wheel will not turn if at all. ( as AFAIK, the caliper is directly bolted to the disc, which is bolted to the hub which is bolted to the wheel)Quote:

Get them to jack it up , take off the wheel and take a look around inside the wheel arch for anything not OEM spec....
