Wheels Sizes

Im going to buy new wheels in a couple of days but just wondering what width wheels people have on their EG civic hatch's. eg 17x7 or 17x6.5 etc...

and the 7's fit under your guards fine?

just yes....but i am running 195 width tyres - which just fit onto x 7's. If i was running 205 rubber, i would be getting rubbing no doubt

i had 205/40/17 on my 17 X 7's you will have no problems on 17's you will however start experiencing problems at 18"

Are you after looks or performence?

7.5 would probably be the widest for ur car..

15s are the way to go to match your cars handling (better for race) and i think looks too!

have found with 17s the height of the wall compromises the high speed cornereing as the walls dont lean over as far but looks great with decent wheels

Im not sure about the width off my head but 17"s!

i have 16x7 with 205 tyres and have no probs with scrubbing. only time there is any rubbing is when it is full lock left it rubs on the inner arch slash guard. but this is only due to getting my castor adjusted to a more positive angle. so no probs really
