Key wont turn
Hi Guys,
Ive had a 2013 accord for around 6 months now and on a few seperate occasions the key just wont turn physically.
its as if the key is not ment for that lock.
We have 2 keys and both dont work, but sometimes they do
sometimes we have to fiddle a tiny bit but I just havent been able to do it
The key itself is in good shape with no dents or anything of that nature.
The car itself is in tip top and all electrics etc work fine.
Any ideas?

Which way doesn't it turn?
Keep in mind that you need to be in "Park" to take the key out if you have an Auto.
New keys are generally more "stiff" but I don't think that's the issue here - especially since you've had the car for 6 months.
Try asking your honda dealer seeing as you've only recently bought your car?

Did you just lock the steering? When the key doesnt turn is your steering wheel locked and can hardly turn? If so, next time it happens put the key in, turn it lightly and at the same time turn the steering wheel left and right however much itll go and they key should turn freely.

ITs brand new buddy, take it to the dealership.

Problem fixed
Steering lock -
But i dont know why steering lock was on in the first place

Steering gets locked when someone tries to turn the wheel without the keys in, safety feature. Sometimes it does happen when you think you havent touched the wheel at all lol
