Spun my rod bearing, what to do!!!!

Hi guys
Today was the s@#ttiest day of my life. I spun my rod, the car was run low on oil and knocking like hell.. FYI, I change the oil under 3000kms and yeah all the oil gone.

What should I do guys, try to fix the bearing, rebuild the engine or get a low Kms one?

Is there any one selling a spare engine for low cost? My is a 1999 ap1.

either rebuild from scratch or buy low kms one.

My opinion, import a US 2.2L s2000 engine and put that in. WINNING!

should go straight in an i believe will be cheaper than a full rebuild.

could be wrong but sus it out.

why not just go with inline pro f24c.

2.2l are not even complied in Oz, may be a hassle now or later on

Thank guys I found a low kms long block for about 3000. Spending money for a 2.2L or 2.4 is a bit too much for my wallet LOL.
